The Fashion Almanac by Ruben Toledo has been created exclusively for Nordstrom. The limited edition hardcover coffee table book illustrates the ten year collaborative efforts between the artist and the retailer.
Born in Havana Cuba in 1961, Toledo is an artistic maven- sculptor, painter, art critic, fashion chronicler, and surrealist. Toledo has designed everything; mannequins, scarves, fabrics, dishes and carpets. Married to fashion designer Isabel Toledo whose designs have been worn by First Lady Michelle Obama, Ruben is no stranger to the fashion scene.
Known mainly for his fashion illustrations created with ink and watercolor, Toledo has created some of the most exquisite renditions of current fashion that has been featured each season in Nordstrom catalogues. Now available in select Nordstrom stores, The Fashion Almanac is a feast for the eyes and a must have for any fashionista or book collector.
